The shell is waterproof without being stiff, the hood is roomy without being bulky, and the fit is cute without looking boxy. At 5'7"/165, the large for great with room to layer underneath. The jacket itself is light weight, but I'm sure it will be just right for the 15-45° range. I absolutely love it. This was my first ever snowboarding jacket, I had no idea what to expect and I wasn’t sure it would be comfortable. Surprise! Joke’s on me! It’s sooo incredibly comfortable so soft and warm. Not scratchy or itchy at all. The soft fabric around the collar when you zip it up all the way was a supper nice touch. There are quite a few pockets too which is very nice. And obviously it has all of the important features a snowboarding jacket should have snow skirt, water proof, wind resistant etc. Also, I just LOVE the color, I got the “Jaded” which is kinda like a more subtle electric blue mixed with a happy teal. I wear a medium in most jackets and so I got the medium in this one which was most definitely the way to go. And while this is a “slim fit” there is still plenty of room for sweaters and such. It’s one heck of a jacket I couldn’t be more pleased. 5 stars, 10 out of 10, whatever measurement you prefer, it’s an epic jacket.
