The backrest on this seat is awesome! Today was the first day using my kayak with this seat. My back felt great after a few hours of fishing. I love the high backrest it has. Very easy and simple to install as well. For the money, I couldn't beat it. A friend of mine sent me the link to this because he loves his as well.I would recommend using something as extra padding on the seat. It is comfortable, but I am going to use something to make the seat a little thicker which will make it more comfortable.Update: April 22, 2019. I used the original seat that came with the kayak as more padding to sit on.
