Now, I bought this for my parents, there is a hearing issue and a vision issue, so I'm waiting to see if they like it as well as I do. I did have to type up the directions in LARGE print for them, I think the company should do that automatically. I'm not real fond of the alarm system, I would prefer to have the ind Sun-Sat capability as with a regular alarm clock and not by Weekend, M-F, etc. but I understand for those who wish to be reminded hourly to take medication. He wanted one that was clear. We are retired and often don't know what day it is. He likes that it has the day, the month AND the time. I set one of the alarms to remind him to take his noon pill and it works well. I set it for 11:55 AM so that the alarm wouldn't go off in the middle of the night. I found it hard to change the am pm setting. He loves the clock and I feel very happy with my choice of present. ### ⭐⭐⭐ FAR TOO BRIGHT for a bedroom. *by D***H on Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2019* While this is a fabulous clock, don't even THINK about using it in a bedroom. It lights up like a christmas tree, even using the "dimmer", and there's no way to turn the light down. It's BRIGHT, BRIGHT, BRIGHT!!! So we ended up putting it in the Kitchen. Works great there! Just wish we could have kept it in the bedroom.
