## Description

Coldtower Kegerator Tower Coolers are professionally designed tower coolers. Our Super Tower Cooler utilizes a powerful ball bearing 3,200 RPM blower, rated for 50,000 hours of operation, 1/2" air hose, blower box air diffusers, and an on/off switch on the 10 foot long power cord. The 3,200 RPM blower and 1/2" air hose provide unmatched cooling capabilities. The air diffusers keep blower noise to a minimum, while also maintaining a more uniform temperature throughout the kegerator and helping to prevent the common problems of ice buildup on the cooling plate, frozen beer lines, and slushy beer when the keg gets low. Use the power switch to turn the already long life 50,000 hour blower off when not drinking beer, and your Coldtower will easily outlast your kegerator! We spent a lot of time and money researching and developing our tower coolers to give you the best possible product. Economy tower coolers cannot compare! For the coldest beer possible and the perfect amount of head, harness the power of Coldtower! *See pictures and bullet points for more details.

Review: A must have for anyone who doesn’t have a tower chiller. - Super high quality, easy to install, small footprint, and amazing performance. Since installing this the beer in the tower lines has stayed ice cold and foam free on my first pour without fail. If your kegerator doesn’t have some sort of tower chilling fan/device, or if you have a cheap one already; buy this chiller ASAP. It’s not the cheapest out there, but my motto is buy right and buy once. You will not only love this product, but you’ll kick yourself for not having bought it earlier. The only way to make it better is to coupleit with a better neoprene tower insulator to make sure the tower stay as cold as the air this thing blows. That will also save you money as you won’t loose as much cold air and make your kegerator run more. If you’re worried about the noise of a fan I can say it’s really quiet installed. The fan isn’t loud and the kegerator blocks 99% of what little noise there is. I read somewhere that if you had the money for a kegerator and love beer enough to have bought one, spend the money and buy a tower chiller. With this I agree and you will too. Btw if you’re still having foam problems after installing this and a good insulator, your issue may be your line length and pressure. Most kegerators come with lines that are super short and inadequate. There are many tools online to calculate line length, use them. I run 9’ lines on my tanks as compared to the 4.5’ they came with. Don’t get caught thinking this thing didn’t work when it did if you still have foam. If the foam persists after the first pour you either have lines that are too short, or pressure that is too high. This product works great with a properly set up system. I have a relatively cheap dual tap kegerator from insignia, but with minor modifications, like this one, I get bar quality pours. Hopefully after this your beer is always cold, cheers.
Review: A great product that really makes a difference. - Yes, add me to the chorus of people singing the praises for this product. It really does work. I think even if you don't have a problem with a foamy first pour, this is well worth the purchase to upgrade your kegerator. Nothing beats draft beer, and this product makes home draft beer taste every bit as good as what you get at the brewpub. After experimenting I found the best results if I try to keep as straight a line as possible for the cooling hose to attach to the box fan. Any weird curves or kinks will slow down the air flow. Also try to keep the hose as short as you can...air works just like liquid, and just as you need to have the proper length for your beer line, so too do you want the right length for the air hose. The power cable is thin enough to fit through the same hole my gas line goes through, so this makes for a really clean installation. I REALLY like the rocker switch outside the kegerator and so close to the plug. A really thoughtful nod to us there. And it works. Man, it works like crazy. I insulated my tower with a section of Pool Noodle, but even that wasn't enough to keep the beer in the tower cold. Adding this though, well, while I'm not getting the extreme condensation that some others are, I figure this is because my tower is highly insulated (and so I just leave the cooler on all the time.). But suffice it to say the beer comes out COLD, stays COLD, and doesn't foam. Having one of these helped simplify my keg balancing as well, giving me a margin of error where I don't feel like I have to calculate the beer line to the closest half inch. If I had any complaint, it would be that I could hear the fan running inside the kegerator. It's not loud, more of a pleasant white noise, but it is noticeable. However, it sounds much like the compressor running, so it's not like an unusual sound or anything. It also doesn't bother me all that much, but I mention it in case it might bug someone else. It's a great product. I'm really happy I have it in my kegerator.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: best way to install?**
A: I have mine hanging about 3” off the floor of the kegerator. I was going to sit it in the shelf however I wanted easy access to it, and I have a half barrel in the way. Plus cold air sinks so having it lower is better. The hose is long enough to reach about 3” from the top of the tower and dangle the fan box about 3” off the floor. My co2 tank is installed inside so I had plenty of room to install power cord through co2 hose port on kegerator. Fan isn’t the quietest but in my basement bar there are always tuned going or the TV and it’s pretty much a non-issue.

**Q: will this also help circulate the air inside the kegerator?**
A: Yes, it does. I designed it with air diffusers on the back cover for two reasons. There is always going to be some residual air inside the box from the blower. The air diffusers allow residual air to escape, making the tower cooler much quieter, and providing air circulation inside the kegerator.

**Q: I have a deep freeze kegerator, goes to 32 degrees, i just bought it, the beer is colder than my former kegerator. Will this make the beer even colder**
A: You want beer temping at 38-42 degrees any colder you loose the aroma, any warmer then 44 you start to encounter foaming. all this product does is prevent a warm air pocket from forming in the top of your towers

**Q: Will this work if I need to run a longer line (5 ft) to a wall tap? Where would I get a longer hose and is it easy to swap out?**
A: I will have about an 8' run, I assume you could just clamp on a larger diameter tube to make it longer..thats what im planning on doing

Kept the tower at the same temp as the box. Can't ask for more. Super easy to install. Totally eliminated the foam pour.
