**Q: who is the cheese manufacturer  (I'm assuming it's French?) and how long is it aged?**
A: It is French don’t know how long it’s aged but very good less expensive than gruyere though pricy on Amazon was less when costco carried it

This Gruyere cheese it well-flavored and melts wonderfully. I say 'four stars' because I have enjoyed this cheese in Switzerland and this version is wonderfully creamy but not so 'nuanced' in flavor as my personal favorites.
