I had a Kores shredder and earlier a SToK one. In both cases the gears broke. Gears are made of plastic! And replacing the gears is almost as expensive as buying a new machine. Appearance is the best in its class, supports shredding of paper, CD / DVD, Credit / Debit cards through separate slots, has automatic mode which senses material insert and starts automatically, reverse mode to remove anything stuck. Has nice basket to collect shredded material with transparent window that shows the filled-in level. Overall happy with the product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ good enough *by J***S on 7 March 2019* What I received looks different from the images posted... but works the same so not really an issue.I tried it with a bunch of old documents and cards. Works well enough but here are the things I have noticed:- It takes a while to get the right angle in inserting the documents.- The bin gets full quickly. I shredded 60 or so pages and the bin filled up twice and then some.- You can still make out the words in the shredded strips. If you value privacy and can afford it, better to go for a micro-cut shredder. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best for home use *by S***L on 28 July 2019* Very easy to use at an unbeatable price. I was able to shred 15 A4 size sheets at once as well as couple of plastic cards. Blades are razor sharp and faced no issue till date after using for 2 months now. It should be noted here that this shredder is particularly effective for home use due to 2 main reasons - 1. The volume it holds is pretty small and hence you may have to manually empty it frequently before your next shredding 2. It shreds to the extent as per specifications and hence if you still require smaller shredding piece, then it's recommended to go for an expensive shredder with still smaller width shred size.
