It was the hit of Christmas to children who are very tech savvy but they loved it. They were playing it them throughout the festivities. They were writing messages, drawing, and doing math. Adults wanted for grocery lists, notes to hubby's, when sick and lose voices and children who didnt get one got upset and I had to order after the fact. The lock feature is awesome and they learned to use it quickly when something got accidently erased. With 5 kids in the same house we sharpied their names on the back. Just had to warn them that stepping on them or hitting them could break and ruin the LCD.
