I quickly assumed the gasket in my Lelit Mara was a 8mm and ordered accordingly. It fit, but required an excessive amount of tightening to get the portafilter to seal; well past the 6-O-Clock position. I measure my OEM rubber gasket and found it to be 9mm. I reordered the 'blue' 8.5mm gasket and it's a much nicer fit. The portafilter tightens a little past the 6-O-Clock position, but much better than the 'red' 8mm gasket. The silicone is sturdy and seals very well, no leaks like my old rubber gasket was giving me, and I'm getting better shots since I'm not losing pressure to a leaky gasket. If you have an E61-style grouphead this is a good replacement gasket and a nice upgrade from a rubber one. It's inexpensive and very easy to replace. Also, get in there and do a good cleaning while you have the shower screen out. :-) Review: Perfect fit for Diletta Mio - It was a little tough getting this new gasket in, but my machine was still hot and that didn’t help. I'd ordered a yellow gasket that was supposed to fit the Rocket from the place I bought the machine, but that gasket was next to impossible to install and felt too big. This was perfect (8mm) and installed easily. Works well inside the machine and no more leaking (My old gasket was quite old and brittle). One thing to mention: one side of the gasket will have a slightly rounded profile and the other side will be a square 90 degree profile.
