I've purchased many varied items from Amazon, and I've never been displeased ... until now. This is a first time I received a piece of junk after ordering through Amazon! When I first had it in my hand, it looked like it had been dropped in the street and run over by a car. (a) One side was clearly scuffed and appeared to have been scraped along concrete - a 'return' perhaps? (b) Battery tested as good ... but the unit refused to function - nor does it work now as I write this. Tried the battery in two positions (up/down), but no go. AND, because it's so light, I cannot even use it as a paperweight!! Truthfully, it does not even deserve one star, so Amazon, please modify your evaluation input to accommodate 'zero stars'. The cost was minimal - $5. (Have I learned a lesson? ... I can stand about 25 feet away from the camera and take a photo, but it isn't always very discreet that I'm holding the remote because the remote has to be positioned in a certain way for the shutter to click.
