It works have used underwater 2 times already, in a pool, and dropped in a puddle. I am a paranoid person so I have done the water test twice to make sure, no issues. I like the built in screen protector. Screen protector scratches pretty easily it seems, but nothing has affected the screen itself so far. And I haven't had any issues with sound distortion or echoes yet. Camera quality seem unaffected.
