It's a nice everyday set, and looks nice on the table, but works especially well with a "shabby chic" place setting.While I'm at it, I should also say that the company is nice to deal with too. I managed to lose a couple of forks and some spoons over the holiday. I contacted the company to price replacements as they no longer offered it on their site. A customer service agent responded, offering to just send me the missing pieces at no charge.
