They have a great texture, smell and are visually appealing. The keys in real life are actually a little bit darker than in this picture, they are very close in color to the picture I supplied. As for installation, it was not too difficult, it really just takes a little bit of time, all you have to do is pop out the pre cut keys out from the rectangle of keys, I popped mine out one at a time and then peeled off the 3m adhesive, carefully aligned the key, then gently pressed down. Just dedicate a half an hour or so to applying these keys and you should be set. These keyboard keys have many pros, they are real wood and they are cut to fit your keys perfectly. These keys feel nice and even have a walnut wood smell to them, you can even smell the burnt wood smell of the wood being laser cut. As these keys are made of natural wood and have no coating on them you might be worried about oil and grime building up on top of your keys, I am someone that washes my hands before I use my keyboard, so in turn I never get my keys dirty and so far my wood keys have stayed looking brand new. Also, if you have noticed that the caps lock key on your keyboard glows green when on, you might wonder if this is covered by the wood key, there is a precut hole in the caps lock key that will let the green light show through, but, just remember back lit keys will not be compatible with these wood keys. Now for the cons, I don't have much bad to say about this keyboard, but, It is quite obvious in the first few seconds of using this keyboard that there are no bumps on the f and j keys, this is something that bothers me because whenever I backspace I shift my fingers a lot and have trouble getting back the the correct keys without these little bumps. Also, these keys are very difficult to take off and re-apply, so if you mess up when applying these keys, don't expect to be able to fix it. The only other con I have for these wood keys is that there is no taper, chamfer, or round to the edges of these keys. In the last category of my review I will focus on improvements since complaints aren't worth much without a counterpart suggestion. I would like to see f and j bumps added to these keyboard keys, this could be done by laser cutting the f and j keys separately from the rest of the keys since the subtractive removal process might interfere with cutting different keys at different depths at the same time. For now though I just fixed this problem by putting a dab of hot glue on both of these keys which allows me to find them easily.I received this product free of charge in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ But looks great! One other con is that the little raised dash that indicates you are on the "j" and "f" for your fingers is no longer there, so it's a little odd that im not positive i'm in the right position for my hands. But one thing is that, you don't have the little thing on your F and J key, which indicate you where you should put your fingers on without looking at your keyboard.
