I would like to believe that I'm saving money since these LED lights use about half a watt of energy. That beats 40 watts any day. I'm going to order a few more in RED and AMBER to place all around the house to see where the colors and configurations work the best. Right now, I have one in the master bathroom and the other in the master bedroom. They are great on the eyes when you have to move around the house at night. The one in the bathroom stays on because very little light gets in when I turn the lights off, even though there is a window. I guess the sensor could use some adjusting to compensate for low-light situations.
