I ordered this pair in the size I usually wear. I found out, as many reviewers said, these moccasins were actually painful to wear the first time I put them on. The other mocs I have worn have all been leather, so they stretched quickly. These moccasins are canvas, so they do not stretch as readily as leather. I found them uncomfortably narrow across the widest part of my foot, where the leather tie goes across. They actually left deep red marks on my feet. If you have bunions , they might be too painful for you. I thought they were so beautiful though, I was determined to wear them. So I walked around in them for about 10 minutes the first night. The next day I wore them for few minutes at a time throughout the day and evening. I found that each time, I was able to wear them for longer and longer periods of time. The next day was rainy, and I wore them out to run some errands. While they did not get soaked, they did get damp, and I think that actually helped with the stretching. After a third full day, they are now as comfortable as my past leather moccasins. I am going to go back and purchase the turquoise ones! If you are patient and take the time to let them stretch out over a few days, I think you'll be very happy you got them! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love Minnetonka! *by T***B on Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2018* Reviews were confusing. Too big, too small, too narrow, size up, size down. Holy geez! Anyway, i'm normally 7-71/2, depending on style of shoe. Went with the 7, mainly because they were on sale for $25, and not the style of shoe that I would wear socks with. The length was perfect, but they were a little tight across the top of my foot. So, I did put on a pair of socks and wore them around the house all day. Now they are the perfect, comfy fit. I love these mocs. I would agree with size up recommendation if you wear socks with your mocs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful, Size up & Break in *by R***A on Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2016* Love Minnetonkas, I've been wearing their classic suede Mocs for about a decade. These do not fit like the classic suede fringe Mocs in any way. I purchased these as a gift, so because she wears a true 5.5 I went with the size 6 - as others have said they run narrow. We had to return them for a 6.5 because they were awfully uncomfortable being so narrow towards the toes ..which was concerning because most 6's are huge for her. Thankfully these weren't too large length wise. She's currently wearing them around the house to break them in and says they're fitting better everyday- so don't be afraid to work them in around the house for a few days. It's worth having a comfy pair of shoes perfectly shaped to your own feet. Other than the wonky fit, the colors are beautiful and rich-not too bright, so they look great with blue jeans and most anything neutral or earth toned.
