I immediately tried it on my Unlocked Samsung Note 9 that had just been upgraded to Android Pi. At the other end I used a cheap 2-3 year old Vizio 50" TV. Samsung screen data appeared immediately telling me to use genuine Samsung Dex products, but I could not mirror the phone screen. Then I figured out there was information in a pull-down menu. When I enabled screen mirroring from that menu, everything worked immedietly and I was able to test on movies from Netflix and Acorn, including subtitles and sound. It heats up from the HDMI Arc port extremely bad,2. The picture quality doesn't seem to transmit very well when used from macbook pro 18" to my lg 4k tv screen, of course its not supposed to transmit upto 4k i believe for this situation its limited to 1080 or 720, but it doesn't seem to stream properly.3. Well for the price its fair but the heat issue does have me worried so ive began looking for another alternative.Update!!! So after my initial review, the seller reached out to me to offer a exchange or refund, since i was looking for what i purchased, i said a replacement would be fine since they reassured me it was simply a defective cable, turns out they're all damaged and defective, i HIGHLY suggest looking else where, as i reached out to them yet again this time for a refund since the new cable heats up JUST as bad as the original which can cause major issues such as damage to your hdmi ports and or connected devices,DO NOT BUY!!!!
