You put them in through the top, then pull them out in the open middle section. Very easy to operate.Mounting on the wall just requires a pencil, a drill, and a couple drywall screws (not included). The plastic holds together well, as long as you don't pack the bags in as hard as you can.This dispenser makes bag reuse and storage much more appealing; I think anyone who reuses plastic grocery bags should have one!The only reason I'm giving this dispenser four stars instead of five is because the fit and finish is just slightly worse than a similar (and slightly more expensive) stainless steel model from Simple Human.
