It has multi-uses and it holds the hair without being stiff or crunchy. I understand that Rusk is discontinuing the Paste and my clients and I are devastated:(. I have tried a couple of other products that are supposed to be similar, they aren't even close. Hopefully Rusk will think better of it and keep producing it. I can hope lol **Q: Is this similar to Sebastian Eruptek? It’s a discontinued product.** A: No it’s not. The RUSK product is the only one that gives my hair texture, volume and stays in one place all day long. I won’t use anything else. **Q: What product replaces the being warped brand.** A: I’m sorry, but I’m not familiar with the “being warped brand”. I can tell you that Rusk paste is a very nice product. I usually have to use a cocktail for my hair and when I'm on the run or feeling lazy, I can just pull this out and be done. Sometimes I put on deva 1 conditioner and leave it on in addition. I've used A v e d a products and still do on occasion because I love the smell and hold, but the expense is out of control. This does have a woodsy scent to it, but not headache inducing.
