"This book changed my life. For the first time I became aware of what dysfunctional breathing is, and of what it does to perpetuate the occurrences of out-of-the-blue attacks of terror I have suffered from for decades. After reading Tess Graham’s book, I was so intrigued that I decided to follow her online course on breathing retraining. The book and the course present a very gentle yet powerful technique to learn how to breathe in the way we are supposed to for optimal health, and more importantly for me, to regain peace and quiet inside when anxiety and panic attacks spin out of control.I have tried many different types of therapies, but none really helped overcome the fear until now. It is striking to me that the medical profession is so far away from understanding what is healthy breathing. A myriad of professionals will tell you to breathe deeply, and train you to do so in order to calm down your nervous system. Too often, I have heard these words: “Take a deep breath”. Every single time, it worsened my symptoms, and further convinced me that I was beyond help. I had no hope of ever been free of these attacks. They were my prison and it was a life sentence.Following Tess Graham’s instructions, I was able to retrain myself to a healthier way to breathe. The wonderful part about this method is that it is gentle, it is easy to use during daily activities, and it feels really good! I have not felt this sense of inner peace in a very long time. This is what I have been looking for so long."

BUY THIS BOOK!!!! I just finished Relief from Snoring and Sleep Apnea book. I am a believer. Recently, I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea. I am 48 years old with a BMI of 19.4 and teach yoga and own my own studio. I absolutely refused a CPAP machine or a oral device. I had progress with side sleeping and now this book! THIS BOOK! It has only been a few days and my life is back. I slept for more than 6 hours straight last night for the first time in, I can't remember. I woke up feeling refreshed. It was amazing! I also ran this morning using nose breathing and even though I had to slow down my pace, I was still able to get my heart rate up to 130 bpm, but not feeling dizzy and gasping for air and the feeling of my lungs burning. Normally, a run for me goes like this, I would breath heavy in and out through my mouth, people walking a block away could hear me coming. I would run as hard as I could to get my heart rate up and most I could get it was 150 bpm. I am excited to see my progress each day. This is a must and I just ordered the anxiety one.
