Looks and feels like plastic. Was not what I wanted but it functions. I don't expect it to last long.Revised 01-20-2019: It doesn't even function well. The keyboard has problems. Characters won't type. I have to watch carefully to see what is being entered. Finally removed iPad and am no longer using this cover or keyboard. Not worth the money. Lesson learned.
