The gold side is VERY reflective, so may not be best suited for bright offices or environments, but it does not wash out the colors as some of the black privacy screens do. The screen also came partially damaged it has two vertical lines down one side. There was no damage to the shipping package or the "retail" package that contained the screen. This tells me that the screen was damaged during production. The lines do not bother me, but they may bother some people, and for that reason I can not give it 5 stars. I chose the "removable" installation option, and the installation was very simple. The screen comes with thick plastic connectors that have adhesive on one side, and the screen sits in the grooves that the connectors make.
