Just be careful to get the correct cover for your Kindle model *by E***T on Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2015* Fits like a glove on my Kindle 7th Gen, 6''.Be very careful to buy the correct cover for your kindle - they vary in size and shape depending on the generation.If you're not sure, go here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/?nodeId=201263790The difference is mainly in the shape - there is a photo sensor that wakes up your kindle when you open the cover and puts it to sleep when you close it.If you get the wrong cover that sensor will not work so you might end up having your kindle on even though the case is closed and you're not using it. This will drain the battery and the more you charge it, the more you shorten your battery life.A part from that, the cover is real leather and good quality. It has a little pocket on the side where you can store loose cash or a credit card when you're out on the beach.The cover closes with a little button that is tight enough not to open on its own.And best of all - this cover is only a fraction of the cost of the equivalent Amazon version. I haven't seen the original but I doubt the any increase in quality can justify tripling the price. ### ⭐ SEE UPDATE OF 1-29-16: So I expected it to be a perfect fit. NOT A PAPER WHITE. So I expected it to be a perfect fit.First it came in a dark blue--not the black I ordered. Second, it did not turn on when you open the cover or off when you close. Third, it looked nothing like the picture. It did not have the clasp. The case was longer than the kindle. And the place where you slide it in was on the wrong side. I open a cover from right to left. The Kindle was on the left--weird. It was held in place by velcro on the left side. In the picture it looks like there is some kind of flap on the left--that doesn't exist. There is a space on the bottom that allows you to manually turn it on and off--but it advertised that it was automatic--and where is the clasp that is pictured. Someone might like this, but if this is what they are selling, the picture and the description should reflect that. And for pete's sake at least give me the color I ordered. Needless to say, I called Amazon and they graciously and quickly offered me a refund. I'm done with Elsse.UPDATE: 1-29-16 The company wrote to me explaining that it sounded as if Amazon had sent me the wrong cover, i.e. for Fire something or other. They said they would send me the right cover and color. I received the cover from Elsse the other day. It is ALL that I had hoped and more. It looks and feels like very nice leather. The kindle does fit perfectly and it turns on just as the description says. It is a great cover for this Kindle at a great price. I did not have to return the original. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality, great price, but a little loose *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2016* I ordered this case in black, and it looks and feels very sleek and of good quality. Overall, the case holds my 7th Gen nicely; however, it is a tiny bit loose on the right side of where the tablet sits, and it is a little awkward to close (e.g., you have to position it before you close it). I almost think it would close more readily with a pen inside the pen holder. Also, I would have loved to see the slot to slip the tablet into along the inside rather than on the top - I have a case for a different tablet where the slot for the tablet runs along the inside and it feels a little more secure.
