## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does the smell, which is similar to mothballs, go away after washing the cards?  I have 2 sets for gifts: one never smelled and one smells awful.**
A: I never encountered this problem with my cards. They are awesome! We have had ours through two children so far. They hold up well and the kids have loved them.I would guess that after they are washed the smell would go away on it's own. As a tip,you can wipe them down in a vinegar/water solution or even mustard as funny as that sounds,but it will get rid of that smell. I have done that with other products with such smell and got great results.Leaving them outside to air out a few days can also help. Hope that helps :)

**Q: What are these cards made out of?**
A: I don't remember exactly what material the Splashimals are made out of, but it's some kind of plastic foam board. Other reviewers seem to have had an issue with smell but our set did not have an odor.

**Q: How do you guys keep the foam on the back from getting a little moldy? Mine is speckling...**
A: We don't use these in water. We are a Rehab Clinic and use them with our patients because they are easy to wipe clean with our disinfecting wipes so mold isn't a problem for us. Sorry I can't be of more help.
