The mount is well made and works great for side slabbing crappie. 😎 **Q: will this go on a kayak?** A: Short answer : I don't know but think it is possible. I put it on a 14' Lowe Jon Boat. It had a curved bow not allowing a normal trolling motor mount. The Procontroll worked great. I have kayaks and will eventually try it out. I would now but it is in FL and I'm in IN. I Think it might work if you have sides on your Kayak that allows it. May need to use a board to help brace. **Q: Are there any pictures of it on other boats other than a jon? I have an eight one alumacraft v hull. I'm sure it would fit. It sounds like it will** A: Sorry I do not have any, but it will fit up to a three inch wide top rail. **Q: Will it fit the side of v hull utility boat?** A: It's very adjustable, should fit.
