I felt it might elevate me enough off the ground where I’d feel unstable or like I was on stilts - considering the boot was already making me taller. Nope. Absolutely not! In fact, it’s constructed in a way that it gives to the height, but also the support and traction you need to feel completely safe and stable no matter what you’re walking through. I’ve walked on snow, ice, and sleet with this with incredible traction. It’s like a rubbery, sneaker bottom. Never felt unsafe or wobbly at all. And I have young kids so I’m always on the go. I don’t think I can recommend this enough. I know that without it, I would’ve had to trade in one pain for another, and still ended up with twice as much pain. 5 stars all the way. Let me just say, it changed my life while I have to wear a boot for my fractured foot. It is so easy to put onto my Nike sneaker. I didn't need the extra level that they also send with it. I just needed the basic Even up shoe leveler. It fit my sneaker perfectly. I am a size 6 1/2 sandal and wear a 7 sneaker. I got the small. It is solid and does not shift as I walk. I was worried about that. I can actually walk almost as if I am not wearing a boot! No limp other than stiffness in the leg I have my boot on. But I swear I walk almost as normal as before. My lower back is no longer in pain from walking unevenly. But it's my spirits that are the most healed from this product. I don't feel like a gimp anymore. I suggest this product wholeheartedly. Get it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well but runs small on athletic shoes *by R***N on June 8, 2020* If you plan on using this with running shoes or other athletic shoes with soles that flare out, order a size up. My wife had no major problems getting this on when she wanted to wear a different shoe, and they did even her up while she was in the boot. She really noticed when she forgot, this when we would go out. But it was some effort to get it on, and it came off a few times when the elastic strap slipped down. Because we got her normal show size and that was just too small, the strap around her heel was hard to get on and could slip off it was under so much pressure. Good luck with your rehab!
