I got it to pound on brick pavers as I reset them. The black head is just right- very firm but gives enough to not damage the pavers. I am reordering the black firm heads with small extensions so the hammer will stand head-end down.. it is easy enough to undo a heavy socket-head bolt and open the cast-iron head and change hammer faces (there are 8-9 types). A point- not all the inside of the iron head is enameled. The bare areas rust easily, so you cannot just hose down the hammer if it has gotten dirty and not have rust inside the iron head. But this whole system is classic, versatile, and very interchangeable.After extensive use. Great tool for pounding pavers! I have ordered the very short handle (labeled 15”, of which about 1-1/2 will be in the iron head, and I’ll put a grip on it. Most-used tool for resetting pavers.Thinking of naming it, though it doesn’t come back when thrown. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well built *by A***M on December 24, 2024* A great hammer.
