It arrived quickly via DPD who gave a 1hr delivery slot on the day of delivery. I purchased grey which is not so light as to show marks, thankfully because we are a animal household. The texture is a short shaggy pile. The rug is quite thin but relative to its cost. It was rolled up for dispatch which had resulted in some creases and a flattened pile. It took less than 24hrs to settle. It has a woven back so could possibly slide on tiles or wood. Mine is on a slate tile floor and has some pieces of furniture on it.
