It cools and warms quickly and the pressure is great for countering 'pressure' headaches and can help dull the throb of migraines too.I loved it until I went to use it last night. I undid the velcro strap to put it around my head and something flung off into my eye. I thought it was a piece of dirt or grit of some kind. I teared up and prodded my eye and looked in the mirror and didn't see anything. Eventually I figured I'd gotten it. That initial experience didn't much help my headache or the bad mood related to it. My eye still bothered me but I figured it had gotten scraped up from the grit and would heal up in a day or two.. I took a nap at lunch and when I got up and blinked something fell off my eyelid. I look and there's this small plastic link, curved and hooked with eye goop on it. It was a velcro link that snapped off when I pulled the velcro apart. It's clear plastic so that's probably how I didn't see it in the mirror.The odds of that happening are probably pretty dang low but I don't think velcro links should be snapping off after only a few times of use. Although I like the quality of the wrap, he said it didn't get cold enough for his pain and it didn't retain the temperature as long as some others we have tried.I have used them when I have puffy eyes from lack of sleep and they are fine for that.
