I would guess it will last a lifetime. It clips on well and locks up tight. I added a little feel good lock.Don't mind the bird turd. I guess my jack doubles as a perch for them now. Wasn't even on for 24 hours yet.Update: 9-19-21So the first one was mounted on a 04 TJ with a soft top. I can't hear it clanging or clinking over the noise of the Jeep. However I just got a 2017 Rubicon with a hardtop and the dampeners. I'm it I can hear it clank on the jack going down bumpy sections of road. Nothing terrible and with the stereo on I don't hear it. It came about 5 minutes ago and took all of 7 seconds to put it on. No need to slide on or remove the jack to get it in, it simply goes over the jack and Handle wherever it is! Drove around with this new farm jack isolator and it is sturdy, amazingly built and not a rattle, tightens easily and makes the farm jack silent while driving the vehicle and even has an opening for a lock if desired. AWESOME PRODUCT....going to buy another for my other vehicle immediately after this review. Great Frickin’ Product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much more solid than the rubber links *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2021* This bracket solves the issues of both environmental damage and slipping around that are shortcomings for the hard rubber handle-keepers used with hi-lift and other "bar" jacks. It's been a very nice upgrade since I moved my jack mounting from inside the covered bed of a pickup to mounting on the front bumper hoop of my SUV off-road bumper.I wouldn't consider it to be much of an anti-theft device on its own since it only attaches the jack to itself, but I also don't figure it was designed for that purpose (despite having a lockable feature designed in).
