But we have the exact same Eberbach at the lab and came across it on Amazon when searching for my own. This is expensive, I will not buy one. However, I can speak that the quality is awesome. This Eberbach storage unit isn't really for simple slides cured with coverslips, they are designed more for micropaleontology slides. These types of slides are cardboard based that are a few millimeters thick. After 'gluing' (gum tragacanth) microfossils in square/round depression of the slide, you encase them within a metal holder that has standard glass slide slipped over it. Because the micropaleontology contain micro fossils that are 'glued' on, it is *ideal* to store them via a flat horizontal surface.The Eberbach E2800 is a great storage unit for micropaleontology slides, but it is too expensive (for me at least). It is nothing but oak wood with aluminum slide holders. If you can afford it, this is an excellent, sturdy unit that will hold 500 of your slides.
