The outside and inside panels have sleeves that you can slide whatever you want to in them. **Q: Where exactly is the color of the product? When you say brown, where is it brown? [The image suggests it is only the center of the "jewel" image.]** A: The entire screen is in the chosen color. The jewels are on removable sheets that are included. Just to note, it also came with sheets for Pathfinder that can be flipped over and used with 5e D&d. Some are saying it only comes with Pathfinder sheets which is untrue. **Q: How has the screen held up? Give us an update after 6 months.** A: I have owned mine for years and it is still in fine condition. Pre 2020, it was used 2 - 4 times a month. A friend bought one on my recommendation and it was falling apart in about 6 months. Here is THE THING: being vinyl, it is susceptible to certain environmental factors. -Mine seldom left my house; his was often in his car for weeks on end. - Mine never experinced wide fluctuations in tempurature; his was in his car during the summer and in the winter. (The cold especially seemed to make it brittle.) - in addition to the above, my friend's often sat in direct sunlight (car). Trying to repair the thing with tape is also not a good idea. Adhesives usual contain some type of chloride which effects the vinyl. I am very happy with how mine has lasted. BTW, I have not used anything other than mild soap (castile) and water to clean mine. I transfer relevant notes to my campaign logs and clean it after every session. My buddy used windex and other similar cleaners and the clear covers got cloudy in a lot of places. He also often put it away without cleaning it.
