I connected a 10 AWG SAE cable to the battery and passed it through one of several openings in the box. Each of my generators have the same connection so I can quickly and easily hook up the generator I need to start, and take it back inside when done. I already had a nice handle with a wide, strong Velcro strap that came from a hose or something. I also ended up putting two small pieces of gorilla tape over the top vents in the box as it is already sufficiently vented otherwise, and covering them will keep the box clean and dry. Despite what some others have said, I have found the strap to be quite adequate, but I assume it makes a difference how you thread it through the buckle. I have it mounted on a shelf on my trailer tow bar to supply power to the electric brakes and electric winch. It was easy to fit and is made of thick tough plastic. For me I put duct tape over the vent holes as there is ample ventilation via the cable holes and it kept out the rain (see photo).
