I explained to her some questions she may not want to answer or even think about and we decided that we could make up another question if it came to that. I saw some people were very upset about certain questions in this book. I suppose it's a personal preference and I'm very open with my kids. I would repurchase this book again! She gets overwhelmed by the idea of having to write long, sustained pieces (like essays or stories). This journal gets her into the habit of (almost) daily writing, and is not intimidating.
