That's what I was looking for. The finish is black. But upon opening the box it appears to be a a silver finish. I haven't used them yet as I just got them. But first impression is that I am pleased with my purchase. 5/21/19 Update: One of my forks Lost all it's Black. These have never been in a dishwasher. I only get to cook once or twice a week. So have been used less than average. I hand wash my dishes with Dawn. And immediately dry with a Terry cloth towel. So they are not wet long. Quality is not up to par in my opinion. If you want to purchase these to admire, then probably be good for that. But actual use will result in a major disappointment. ### ⭐⭐ SIX MONTHS LATER *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2019* In the beginning, I loved this silverware set. But after six months of use, I am sad to say "please save your money and look elsewhere!" Yes, look elsewhere unless you like half black half silver eating utensils.
