Review: HELLA H1 YL Xtreme Yellow Bulbs, 12V, 55W - Arrived on time, installed fairly easily even in sub zero weather, clip on light is a bit tricky is biggest issue. Lights are nice and bright. Review: Exactly what I expected - I bought these bulbs to use as high beams on an aftermarket HID projector kit I bought for my truck (the high beams on that particular model are halogen and are not projector). These are exactly what I expected and well worth the $14 I spent on them. They are about as bright as a standard 65W high beam bulb. I say this because they are 100W (brighter) but they use a blue tint (which reduced light output) to reduce the yellow in the light and make them appear whiter. The result is a bulb which is about the same brighness, whiter, and a much shorter lifespan. I highly recommend carrying spares of these bulbs if you don't want a ticket for driving with a headlight out. Also, while they are much whiter than regular halogen bulbs, they are not as white as my 6000k HIDs (which I also expected). All in all, I got exactly what I expected plus spares for what I consider a very resonable price.
