Would I be paying $73.98 for 30 boxes of 280 wipes?** A: I bought these while ago but I did buy a case. They'll probably last me for the next 5 years but it was a good deal. I have the box sitting on my lap now. The box says they are delicate task wipes. I just tried using them on my chromebook and that seemed to work. I go to a ophthmologist, optomotrist and retina specialist. They ALL use thee wipes. Try and box and you'll be happy. **Q: Can these be used dry (as is) for cleaning prescription eyeglasses?** A: I only use glass eyeglasses but I know the dollar tree ones are plastic. They work great and don't scratch your lens. I find using the spray on eyeglasses with the wipes work great. **Q: Do these wipes help get rid of static?** A: No these wipes do not get rid of static. They are lint free but not static free. **Q: Are these like the ones that Lenscrafters sells?** A: I don't go to Lenscrafter. You could call and ask them. Capital District Opthamolics uses them; that's where I got the information.
