These make great seat cushions for ocean-going boats, too! *by J***R on June 24, 2016* I just bought this to replace two old ones (2008) that have been repurposed as seat cushions for an ocean fishing boat. After 8 years, the original two are still cushy and durable as ever after heavy use both inside and outside the home. They truly help absorb the shock associated with choppy water and going over the bar, and are the best extra cushions I've found. Now, when he gets back from fishing he doesn't feel so beat up.We both have arthritis, and these really are knee savers any time we have to kneel to complete a chore, and they do not absorb water. Much thicker than other knee pads we've found, yet still thin enough to store easily. Worth every penny, and will last for years to come.
