The dial cover no longer fits over standard oval-head wall plate screws -- you have to substitute your own flat head screws. The knob no longer has the metal shaft insert, it's all plastic, and is now very tough to push on all the way on. When you do, the knob sits too high on the timer shaft, leaving an unattractive 1/8" gap at the dial cover. Heaven help you if you need to remove the knob later, the best way is to use two paint can openers -- the 4" long metal ones with a pry tip on one side and a bottle opener on the other. Placing one on either side of the knob base (there is plenty of room due to the 1/8" gap) pull evenly and hard, hoping the plastic knob doesn't break.At least the timers seem to function as they should. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ best switch for 2 wire box *by W***G on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 2, 2022* Nice switch. these things stop working after a while, but you can open it up, give it a little oil andit's fixed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality product *by K***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 31, 2019* Bought two of these timers for our bathroom exhaust fans. My parents have Intermatic timers and they are quality: work well and are reliable. I had purchased a Woods brand from the store but they looked chinsy and had wire leads pre-attached instead of the robust screws on the Intermatic.The install wasn't as simple as I hoped due to the holes for the switchplate mounting screws. The holes in the timer switch are not threaded so you are making the threads in the plastic housing as you twist in the screws. Was more difficult than you'd hope and I used the supplied screws rather than mar up my screw plate, color matched screws.
