Engineered for durability and ease of use, it provides safe, seamless access to plumbing or utilities behind walls without compromising aesthetics. ## Description Our System F3 access door has a removable panel that comprises a welded aluminum frame, concealed touch latches and a 5/8” (15.9 mm) drywall inlay. There is an outer and inner frame assembly of high grade aluminum that is bonded together with a special welding process. After installation, finishing, and tile installation, a small reveal of 1/8” (3 mm) is visible between the outer frame and the access door. Any access door over 12β€³ (305mm) has a safety-system to prevent accidental openings. This safety system must reset after each use. The rough opening of the hole is the door size + 3/8” (9mm). We designed this access panel for tiling applications. To β€œtiling the door leaf”: The aluminum profile is flush with the drywall and you place the tiles upon the profile.
