**Q: Do you dissolve this in water and put cutting into the water?**
A: No, you get your soil ready and you poke a hole with a pencil or a straw.  You dip the cutting in water.  Then you dip the cutting in the rooting hormone making sure that you cover it completely.  Then you insert the cutting in the hole and press the soil in around it so that you ensure that you maintain as much as the rooting compound on the cutting for growth.

**Q: will this work well on Plumeria cutting?**
A: Yes. This is the correct strength for plumerias.

**Q: Is this the best strength for forsythia cuttings?**
A: We recommend rooting powder #1 for forsythia cuttings.

**Q: What type soil is best for rooting roses - peat moss, potting soil, etc.?**

First time I've ever done this - did a lot of research. Needed to root some climbing roses. Out of 4 semi-hard top cuttings, 3 died (root rot) but one took off and is now (within 45 days) a nicely growing, healthy 8" plant. Still carefully monitoring the bottom heat, but have hardened it off from high humidity in a bag. It's under a high intensity light. I am thrilled with my success so far.
