The product is suppose to allow for turning the display from horizontal to vertical.  I needed a stand that would allow this for applications, etc. running on computer, cell phone.  Further, some of the parts were missing upon delivery - had to get parts from hardware store.  Not holding the vendor in contempt for the missing parts - this was a UPS issue.  Overall, the stand is a sturdy wall mount but unable to pivot as advertised.  If you need a standard stand that swings horizontally it works.
