So I get 30 because it is cheaper. The extra cost for 50 is not worth it. I just apply more 30. But you know, I don't even do that as 30 is almost as good as 50!The only time I might spring for 50 is if I am in Greece or Arabia or N. Africa, where the sun is brutal. you need more there, even if it is just a little bit more. Plus treated clothing and wide brim hat for sure.Anyhow, this is a good SPF for all but Irish people (and even they should be OK if also protected with hat, clothing) and saves you some money! A cream will be better and longer lasting but, I hate creams. I would rather spray this on a few times when I sense it has worn off. HOWEVER, I used it to mow the lawn recently and, gave my arms a good soapy wash and I still detected it. The next day, I showered and I could still smell it.
