It is very functional and very attractive (better-looking than the advertised photo). ### ⭐⭐⭐ Be gentle with it! *by H***M on March 1, 2019* 3.5 I have had this brand of breadbox before and knew that one has to be gentle when raising and lowering the lid as overall this breadbox is not the most sturdy around. And as others have said, it is not a "true" white (but close enough for me). But what I like best about this breadbox, and why I bought it, is because I can place it up against the back of the counter and do not have to move it at all in order to access what is within. The lid opens into itself. But be warned (again) that you need to be gentle when doing so; otherwise, you will break the (somewhat cheap) construction. I also like that the top is level, so I can place items on top of the box as well.
