A friend of mine shared a copy of this book with me a number of years ago, and since then I've done the same for a lot of friends, family members, colleagues, and complete strangers. From the Norwegian woman I sat next to on a plane, to my friend who's now taken it upon himself to share it with as many people as possible, I've seen this story make a true difference in people's lives.No sentence is wasted in this story. Don't let the number of words in this book fool you; it is loaded with life lessons, and the single, most important one of them all - how precious the present really is.Coming back to living in the present, instead of drifting into the future or past is something that I'm constantly striving for. This story helps me get there. It helps me get to a place of gratitude and love for life. Being conscious of everything going on around me allows me to be in control, and brings out the best in me and others.I'm on my way to buying a hundred used copies of this book, and I don't plan on stopping when I get there.
