I decide to try an interface built by the corporation that built Cubase! My old unit had lost phantom power and as time went on just started having issues. I didn't buy it at Amazon because I didn't know I could at the time. This UR 242 has been rock solid! The one issue I had, Steinberg tried to figure it out was caused by me accidenly pushing a high impedence button! They said they couldn't see any thing wrong because there wasn't. It was totally my own doing. It included an extra Cubase version and VST effects from Steinberg. Very generous.
