In fact, if you run it more than 13A, it is already considered intermittent duty. And it will require some cooling time before you run it again. I personally would never design a system that relies on intermittent duty cycles. **Q: Can these be used for a 12 volt 550 motor?** A: It depends on your current draw. I ran a DC motor off a motorcycle battery with absolutely no issues. Stays cool. Has 2 convenient buttons on the PCB for manually testing motor either Fwd/Rev direction without code.
