The wall cabinets are 42" tall and have three hinges. I used just one of these in the middle location. Requires a bit of adjustment to align with the others, but work great. The bottom cabinets were way easier as they only had two hinges. Again, just replaced one. They fit right into the existing holes (I have face frame doors). All the doors now work great.They will tell you to install two and shut off the soft close on one if it is too tight, but that is unnecessary.Why the builder did not use these is a mystery to me given the low price.
