It’s totally a Scam! The only thing better would be if the blade became sharper too! The shave is not as close after a couple of uses. I don't need to have extra super duper smooth legs all of the time so it works great for me. I change out blades after about 2 months just to get a closer shave. The razor could keep going though. I expect that I'll never buy more than an 8-pack of replacements to last an entire year from now on. Maybe a 4-pack even.
