I never measure sauces for marinades. I just go by how everything looks. I find you need to add sauce after a while because it will slide off the meat while it's cooking as the sauce is watery; so keep basting the meat as it cooks or re-glaze. **Q: Would this work as a flavouring for plain white rice please?** A: It’s quite thick so stir in a little water then stir it through the cooked rice with a fork.
