I stored it inside during the winter. I attached it outside and turned on the water. It leaks from the front of the nozzle.** A: At the front of the nozzle there is a screw in the center and if you unscrew it the front section will come off and expose a small rubber o-ring seal. That seal is most likely damaged and needs to be replaced to prevent the nozzle from leaking. **Q: I just received it. It doesn't show any thread to attach it to a standard hose. I cannot screw it. Is it a defected product?** A: The base of the nozzle has a threaded area into which the standard hose is to be screwed into. If that area is smooth then your product may be defective. **Q: Does this nozzle have a way of 'locking' it on? Or do you have to hold the handle in at all times to keep the spray?** A: it's cold here, so I don't have them in use. I believe it has a locking mechanism, but I was not overly impressed with the water sprayed. I had several inexpensive ones from lowes that were better performers. **Q: How does it fit to a hose? Is it snap fitted or having a twist tip head?** A: It is fitted onto a hose by screwing it on - to some I believe they would say twisted. Mine leaked right away. Replaced with better quality washer and no leaks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loved it!! Update *by C***S on June 23, 2019* Update: purchased a second set which didn’t last more than a year. I will be moving on from this item and try and did something more sturdier. They fail where the handle meets the metal. The handle just simply wears out I purchased 2 of these about 4 years ago. The first one I misplaced after 3 years the second one broke and it was my fault. But after 4 years I can’t complain. Thing to note this product is plastic. That means if you want to throw your nozzle around then this is not for you. Some people do it without thinking but you can’t blame the product because you knew you were buying plastic. My last one broke after 4 years because I had something else in my hand and I dropped it by mistake and it broke to the point I can’t cut it off. Secondly the first thing you should do is buy commercial gasket for the bottom of the nozzle. No nozzle you buy that is cheap will have the nice thick gasket so it doesn’t leak where the hose meets the nozzle. They cost a few cents so invest in a few. Not once did my nozzles leak the whole time I had them (which was a lot with 4 cars being washed every Saturday). I will purchase 2 more to replace the ones I had hopefully the quality is the same and I will have these for another 4 years. *Update: the replacements I purchased for some reason did not last as long as my originals. I had one go bad at the on/off point. Had them for almost 2 years and the one that went bad is the one I have in the back yard which doesn’t get used as much. I am taking one star away for that purpose.
