I tried to use it on my dog to prevent her from eating snow and she managed to get it off in approx 0.0003 seconds. The material is entirely too stiff and does not conform to the face, and the velcro adjustment inside the muzzle cup prevents it from being made tight enough to stay on. The overhead strap that is supposed to keep the thing on does absolutely nothing to secure it. Total waste of money... Wish I could give Zero Stars... ### ⭐⭐ Dog could get it off *by J***P on Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2019* My dog (80 lb., 10 yr. old Goldendoodle) has a tumor on her ankle and she has been licking/biting at it relentlessly anytime I'm out of the house (we have been on several rounds of antibiotics because she chews it raw and the area gets infected). We had tried an E-Collar, an inflatable doughnut-type collar, a silicone basket muzzle, bitter apple spray, vinegar - EVERYTHING to keep her away from it and nothing has worked. She still manages to get to the spot and I come home to blood everywhere. NOT fun.I found this muzzle and I really thought/hoped that this would be the thing to really keep her from her ankle, but unfortunately, it did not. Worked for about 2 days (and I was thrilled) until she figured out how to get it off. She could get the muzzle off (even when I put it on quite tightly) and eventually chewed through the straps. Now it is useless. I have spent so much money trying to keep my girl away from her tumor. I'm still searching for something that'll work... ### ⭐⭐ I wanted it to work so bad *by E***A on Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2019* I gave this product a real chance, the size seemed to be the right one and all. However, no matter how well you fasten it, it comes loose fairly easily. This has become a very frustrating problem because the slightest attempt by my dog to get off this muzzle is always successful. Like I said, it’s not that the muzzle is too big or anything, the size seems just right but the straps get loose way too easily and they don’t hold in the place you want them to. Maybe I got a lemon and this product works better for others, but as for me, I am not satisfied with it at all.
